How long have you been doing what you do, and how did you become a Registered Dietitian/Health & Wellness Coach?
To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment, and a resulting “compelling story”, that brought me to where I am today – coaching and nutrition counselling people like you to support and evoke within your desired health and wellness goals.
As you commit and start to make healthy habit changes, immediately there are opportunities for improvement in health conditions, increase in energy level, so you feel amazing, radiant, attract better relationships, career, treat yourself better, improve self-image, feel more empowered, sleep better, reduce stress, in the flow of life, and create a life of wellness and abundance. That defining moment in my life happened in 2014.
As a result of this turning point, I embarked on shifting my priorities and making habit changes. Why 2014, when I have been a dietitian since 1990? Well like so many other people, and certainly a lot of my clients, I have a long history of trying to start health and wellness goals, and then other areas of my life would take over. In 2014/2015, I had an awakening to the fact that I need to recommit to taking care of myself, my health and wellness path. I began to embark on my journey of transforming my health and wellbeing, fully committing to myself.
I set off on the next part of my journey when I started to shift priorities, taking courses, reading, resourcing, introspective work, healing and recovery. I also worked closely with a variety of coaches and completed coaching certifications. One course in particular, Sum Sanos I am Healthy program, struck me and it became clear, that I wanted to help others, and be supportive in their health and wellness goals. As a Registered Dietitian, I have always enjoyed counselling in nutrition, and providing scientific expertise, and credibility. I did find though, that clients face challenges and frustration with sustaining long term success, and research has shown that it is because these treatment interventions are behavior focused.
I enjoy evoking and supporting my clients/patients, through my expertise as a dietitian and coach, witnessing the long term transformation in health and wellbeing which enables them to live the life they love to live. It gives me such a wonderful feeling as they come to me wanting to grow, change, transform, and really are needing the tools on HOW to get started, stay committed, and accountable, and so as a coach I am very key in this process.
As I have committed to my health and wellbeing, I feel more confident, radiant, passionate, creative, and I have seen improvements in others areas of my life, relationships, my career path, and have the time to enjoy travelling, more time to take steps to move these areas of my life in the direction that I have always dreamed.
I have taken time to spend with my family, friends, connecting with people I had not seen for a while, and did some travelling to Greece, London, and Paris. It was wonderful to have this time, what a gift! I decided that I am going to follow my dreams, as well my health and wellbeing is a top priority, and not up for negotiation.
Over the past 30 years, in my career I share and offer through coaching you valuable business, personal experience and growth opportunities. I have built self-esteem, confidence, and strength as a result of cleaning up my past. I live in the solution, implement principles, and tools of my coaching programs I offer and have incorporated in my life.
How did I enter and start coaching the Sum Sanos I am Healthy Program?
When COVID 19 hit and during the time of lockdown, I continued on and kept my daily routine, and completed 200 hours of yoga training, therefore receiving certification and I am starting to teach Yoga. By working with me, you too can take positive steps in your life to improve your health and wellbeing. By doing so you will also see your overall life improve in all areas, feel happier, have better relationships, less stress, more present, and in tune with what you want for your life. Also, sleep better, feel more attractive, positive, creative, and be true to yourself. I have also heard clients speak of improvements in self image, eating and moving their body in a more effective, productive way.
Since then, I live my dream of helping others and live a healthy, abundant lifestyle that I coach, and have learned through my own personal struggles, situations, and turning points in my life.
I am a Sum Sanos coach, and the program that I offer is a 1 year program, a series of 12 modules, resulting in transforming your life, and moving in the direction of feeling healthier than ever. I also combine this program with vision workshops, and dream building.

Who are your clients?
I work with people just like you who have had some wake up calls over the years, health concerns present, continually getting ill with colds, chest infections, living in high stress environments. As a result, you are highly stressed, burned out from overworking, and try to keep things going, and as you work harder to do so, your health is more compromised. Even if you get up at 5 am there is still not enough time to fit everything in, and family, friends, and other commitments become more and more. There are so many obligations, and it keeps you up at night. So you might as well get up and face the day. This is in essence what is happening to you. When you do have a few moments though…Then COVID 19 hits, adds even more stress and uncertainty, and the direct effect of your stress level going up is negatively impacting your health and wellbeing even more. You are paralyzed, yet still inside there is this nudge that you want to improve your health/wellbeing, not sure where to start, but there is a desire to get started.

What makes you different from other Dietitians and Health and Wellness Coaches?
Although we will occasionally touch upon health topics, and what you have perhaps tried in the past and did not work, or worked for awhile, short lived” things, you have me as a life coach and transformation expert and consultant. I work on the inner and outer principles for success and look at your health and wellbeing from a medical, science based, as well an integration of mind, body, soul. What that means to you is that you get a supportive life coach that can support and ignite/evoke in you the healthy habits you want to put in your life. I am someone who has walked the walk struggling with sustainable balance in my life. I have always been someone with a desire to eat well, live well, study what to eat, and have all the knowledge, I just need assistance with how to incorporate these healthy habits long term and the habits be sustainable. I went, and have done the research/learning required to evoke transformation in my life. Now I am offering Athena’s Exodus Wellness Program.
What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?
The Athena’s Exodus Wellness Program is compiled of workshops, study guide,and programs created for people who are absolutely excited and dead serious about wanting to make positive changes in the area of Health and Wellbeing which result in feeling more energetic, vibrant, attractive, confident, productive, balanced, calm, and focused. I’m known to work best with other people who are committed to their success and are at that stage of readiness to get going and just want to know exactly what steps to take to improve their health and wellbeing. Some clients and myself included have exhausted themselves, researching and listening to everyone else tell them what they should do to improve their health and wellbeing.
The Athena’s Exodus Wellness Program that I offer as a coach is not a program of telling you, or advising, or giving you a quick fix or resolution to your health and wellness concerns. It is an expansive, abundant, vibrant, and program that you are able to create with the principles, tools, and coaching that I provide.
For what type of professionals are your programs NOT going to work?
The Athena’s Exodus Wellness program is NOT for those who have no money coming in and are absolutely, financially desperate, at least not right away. It’s been my experience that people in financial crises, do not trust the recommendations I give them and do not do the work (probably because they spend so much time worrying about where they are going to get next month’s rent check or mortgage payment.) If you fall within this category, it’s absolutely OK. We’ve all been in times of financial crisis at one point or another.
Another type of personality that my coaching style is the chronic skeptic, as well as individuals who constantly make excuses for not getting their assignments done or challenging every aspect of the program. If you are one of these people, I gently and respectfully ask that you not call and I hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money.
Other professionals where my program is not a good fit is for someone looking for a quick fix, meal plans, exercise regimen, detox, cleanse, miracle supplements. The Athena’s Exodus Program begins with a scientifically-based program designed to help you achieve long term weight loss success. What exactly is the Athena’s Exodus Program and what does it include?
My signature program, Athena’s Exodus Wellness Program includes a branded program, Sum Sanos I am Healthy program, a 12 month program, and my personalized/professional consulting skills as a Registered Dietitian, yoga certification, and a highly successful business woman.
